This thread is for other projects the Overture Team is involved with that are not related to Overture.
Feel free to ask about them, add suggestions, responses, or share your own projects, whatever.
I'll start.
I'm a busy guy and I'm involved in a lot of things in general. I kind of feel like if I ever stopped working on creative projects I'd go a little crazy. Maybe a lot crazy. I don't know.
First, I am in a band. We play often and rather well, mostly at bars and clubs but we've also opened for national acts, been able to play for fundraisers for cancer research and the SPCA, helped open a tattoo parlor with a show, and we've been professionally recorded, featured on the radio, interviewed for podcasts and a few magazines.
Next, I'm a voice actor who is working on a few different projects in that department, not all of them my own. I've been cast in an online childrens' cartoon series that I can't talk about really, you can hear my work in the Chrono Trigger Unglued Dub episode 2 on youtube, I play Pierre the FRONCHman. I also have written, casted, and acted for my own cartoon series that has been on hiatus for a while now, but is actually picking back up very soon.
Next, I'm an active member of fanedit.org and if you've never heard of it, now's the time! Initially fanediting films started with the most popular one, the Phantom Edit, which led to a ton of homemade Star Wars "improvements", and eventually people realized you can do it for just about any film. So there's basically a good version of every superhero movie you ever disliked on there somewhere. I'm working on an edit of X-Men that ties it in nicely with X-Men First Class and uses some background story from X-Men Origins to salvage what was good from that film and bring Wolverine's story full-circle in one film. I don't go by Mr Bekkler on that site.
I've participated in an RP that is now dead on the Chrono Compendium (but has a LOT of my writing) and written several pieces of lyrics, limericks, outlines, scripts, and prose which can be found throughout the Compendium. I've made some fan art and even my own line of Chrono comics.
I'm an experienced cook and love putting together new foods, but when I have a job AS a cook I hate cooking for myself.
When I have time later to find everything I will add links to most of these.
So how about you? What are you working on?
