Production is back on track after a short hiatus taken by myself to get my IRL stuff back together. However, the team was not on hiatus, and have been churning out some amazing work. This project is not dead, but if it looks like it is, well, at least we won't get noticed by SE too quickly.
Here's the thing. We have over 5000 downloads right now of Overture's current demos, that's only counting the downloads of Shift and Prelude that go directly through Rpgmaker.net. It does not include Chrono Alter, Epoch Battle, or Chrono Chronicles, and does not include anyone who downloaded from the Let's Play Chrono Shift videos, because the user who made those used the link directly to the download at megaupload, so those don't get counted.
Needless to say, we've gained far more attention than we thought possible and the best I can think of is "I KNEW I should have included SOME kind of brainwashing in that demo!" Lucky for you who have played it, there is no brainwashing, just pure, clean, jump-right-on-in fun. My only fear at this point is not that we won't finish the game on our own. We will. I fear, rather, that all this attention will attract the wrong sort, the CnD variety. So much of our news is held back to keep us from getting noticed, we REALLY want to get these games out.
I hope everyone's ready for a good time, if anyone is interested in joining the team, we're always looking for good creative minds, willing to work out of love for the series, and you can send a PM to any of the staff or email us directly about what you'd like to get involved with.
At any rate, I'll be creating a companion video for this news post and showing it on youtube. The link should follow shortly.
